Providing and securing the website

Our website is hosted by dogado GmbH, Antonio-Segni-Straße 11, 44263 Dortmund, Germany. When you access the website, your browser transmits technically necessary connection data to the web server. These include, in particular, your IP address, the time of access, the requested address, the volume of data transferred, the request status, and information supplied by your browser about the browser, operating system and previously visited page.

These data are used to deliver the website, analyse errors, and detect and prevent misuse. They may be processed in server and security logs. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of our website. The recipient is our hosting provider.

The retention period depends on how long the logs are needed to operate the website, analyse errors and investigate specific security incidents. Data relating to a particular incident may be retained until it has been resolved and, where necessary, to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Contact by email

Our contact form uses your details to prepare an email draft for your own email application. The website does not send the message itself and does not store the form entries on our web server. We only receive the message content and the accompanying contact and connection data when you send the message from your email application. The copy function places the draft on your device’s clipboard only when you explicitly click it.

We process your message, name and email address to handle and respond to your enquiry. For enquiries relating to a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR applies. For other enquiries, the legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, reflecting our legitimate interest in handling business communications. Providing this information is voluntary; without suitable contact details, we may be unable to respond.

We use Google Workspace for our email communications. Google processes messages and technical communication data in this context. Processing outside the European Economic Area, particularly in the United States, is possible. Google’s safeguards for international transfers and information about subprocessors are described in its Cloud Data Processing Addendum.

Enquiries are retained for as long as necessary to handle them and any required follow-up questions. Statutory retention requirements for business correspondence or records, and the need to safeguard legal claims, may justify longer retention.

Fonts, media and external links

The fonts and images on this website are delivered through our own website. No external video players, social media plugins, advertising pixels or analytics services are embedded. The website does not use cookies for analytics or advertising purposes and does not create corresponding visitor profiles.

Links to other companies or providers take you to their websites only when you click them. The respective provider’s privacy notice applies there.

Your rights

Subject to the applicable legal requirements, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may withdraw any consent you have given with effect for the future.

Where processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation. Please contact us using the email address above.

You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, particularly in the place where you live or work or where the alleged infringement occurred. The authority responsible for our registered office is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
